National Kart Racing Championship (NKRC)

The National Kart Racing Championship (NKRC) is a prestigious karting event that attracts participants from various regions. Organized under the aegis of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), the NKRC serves as a platform for aspiring racers to showcase their talent and compete at a high level.

At Vikrant Institute of Technology and Management (VIMT) Indore, a virtual round of the championship took place. Students from VIMT qualified for the final round held at RPM360 in Bhopal. A total of eight students, along with two faculty members, participated.

The championship typically features several rounds held at different karting tracks across the country, including those in Madhya Pradesh. Participants compete in various categories based on age and skill level, aiming to accumulate points throughout the season to win overall titles in their respective classes. The NKRC plays a crucial role in the development of motorsport in India, helping to identify and nurture young talent who may progress to higher levels of racing.
