Fire Service Week Fire Mock Drill
On the occasion of Fire Service Week, a fire mock drill was organized at Vikrant Institute of Technology and Management, Indore, on April 13th. This event aimed to raise awareness about fire safety measures among students and prepare them for any unexpected fire-related emergencies.
The drill was conducted by the students of B. Tech. FTSE. During the exercise, students demonstrated the use of fire extinguishers, fire hoses, and other firefighting equipment. Dr. Sandeep Yadav, HOD of FTSE, coordinated the entire event with his team.
The chief guest of the program was Mr. Aditya Srivastava, World Safety Head of Cummins India. Honored guests included Mr. Vishal Singh Gurjar, Senior Executive Officer Fire and Safety Nexus Indore Central, and Mr. Pankaj Yadav, Assistant Manager of Treasure Island Mall, Indore.
The event saw the presence of all board members of VGI, Indore, and Principal Prof. Jitendra Singh Dodiya. The Managing Director of the institution, Mr. Nitin Singh Tomar, appreciated all the students for their impressive performance.
At the conclusion of the drill, students were honored with certificates in the categories of Best Attendance and Best Result for the session.
The fire mock drill was a valuable learning experience for everyone involved. We hope to continue such exercises in the future to ensure the safety and security of our college community.
