Industrial visits are regarded as one of the more strategic forms of instruction. The primary explanation for this is because it enables students to learn concepts practically through interactions, workflows, and employment practices. Additionally, it provides exposure from an academic perspective. The primary goal of an industrial visit is to introduce students to real-world work environments. Additionally, they give pupils a great chance to fully understand industrial procedures. Students get knowledge about emerging technology through visits to industries. The growth of technology is a key aspect that students should be well-versed in. We are aware that cultivating relationships with businesses will always be beneficial to landing a great job later on. Following an industry visit, students can acquire a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects.
The Department of Pharmacy arranged a visit for the first semester/first year B.Pharm students on January 27, 2024. The students visited Ipca Laboratories in Indore with the assistance of Training of Placement officer Mr. Nikhlesh Tripathi, and one faculty member Ms. Nikhat Khan. The same day (Timing: 10:00 AM-2:00 PM) Mr. Nikhlesh Tiwari, TPO, VGI, Indore conducted a session and Other Formality of Visit (Attendance & Undertaking) as part of the Pre-Activity for this visit. The session covered topics such as Manufacturing basic properties of drugs and how to ready Industrial Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients (API) etc., that students need to understand while visiting the Plant.
