Student Induction
The Vikrant Institute of Technology and Management (VITM) in Indore held its Student Induction Program for Engineering and MBA students on September 8-9, 2023. This program aimed to integrate new students into the academic and social environment of the institution. The event took place at Vivekananda Hall and was meticulously planned to provide a comprehensive introduction to the college’s facilities, resources, and culture.
On the first day, students gathered and registered in the morning, followed by the arrival of dignitaries and a formal opening ceremony. The program included a series of welcome notes from various principals and key officials, a video presentation showcasing life at Vikrant, and guided tours of the campus. Post-lunch, the Principal of VITM provided an overview of the Vikrant Group of Institutions, and an engaging alumni talk was facilitated by Dr. Priyanka Pathak. The day concluded with indoor activities coordinated by faculty members.
The second day began with a formal opening and brief overviews of the scholarship, transport, and sports sections. This was followed by the arrival of guests, a lamp lighting ceremony, and an insightful address by Dr. CD Singh Sisodiya. Tokens of appreciation were presented to guests, followed by a vote of thanks. The afternoon included an online alumni talk, interactive sessions with faculty, and guidelines for students from the Principal. The program concluded with outdoor activities.
Overall, the induction program was a success, effectively helping new students transition into their academic environment and fostering a sense of community within VITM.
