ATHENA, the eagerly anticipated annual tech fest hosted by Vikrant Group of Institutions (VGI), Indore, unfolded with vigor and innovation on Saturday, 13th April 2024, marking the occasion of Fire Service Week. The event commenced at 10:30 AM and was held at the VGI college campus, pulsating with the energy of students from diverse academic disciplines showcasing their technical acumen and inventive ideas. Students hailing from engineering (CE, CS, IT, ME, EC, EX & FTSE), management, pharmacy, nursing, and commerce streams congregated to participate in various activities, fostering an environment of collaboration and skill enhancement. The fest served as a conduit for attendees to delve into the latest advancements in their respective fields, amplifying their technical exposure.

A highlight of the event was the fire drill orchestrated by students of Fire Technology and Safety Engineering, delivering a poignant message about the significance of fire safety. The drill not only demonstrated their proficiency but also underscored the importance of preparedness in averting potential disasters. The occasion was graced by esteemed guests, including Shri Santosh Dubey Ji, the Incharge Police at Laxmibai Nagar Police Fire Station, Indore, who lent their presence to the festivities. Additionally, the event welcomed notable personalities such as Dr. Vijay Rode from SGSITS, Indore; Er. Sunil Kalyankar, representing CASE New Holland Construction Equipment, Pithampur; and Er. Ashwini Kumar Sharma, a distinguished Fire & Safety Engineer from Indore.

The participation of students from various disciplines including Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Fire Technology and Safety Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy, Management, and Commerce lent a diverse and enriching dimension to the event.
