Event Details

The "Udaan 3.0: Idea Competition 2024" team is committed to fostering the growth of startups and technologies emerging from academic institutions. Through mentorship, outreach, and connections with potential investors, we aim to empower our young entrepreneurs to realize their dreams and build impactful enterprises.

We are not only providing mentorship for innovative ideas but also offering young minds the opportunity to win prizes of up to one lakh rupees. This year, UDAAN 3.0 offers even greater opportunities for students, working professionals, and entrepreneurs seeking incubation support, financial funding, legal assistance in patenting, and technical guidance under Vikrant Incubation Center.

Activities

On May 7th, 2024, a group of 18 finalists from the UDAAN 3.0 competition, accompanied by faculty members Mr. Vivek Singh and Mr. Surajmal Patidar, visited the Incubation Center at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore. The purpose of the visit was to provide students with firsthand experience of the startup ecosystem, innovation processes, and entrepreneurial culture at IIT Indore.

On May 9th, 2024, a group of 20 finalists from the UDAAN 3.0 competition, along with the same faculty members, visited the Incubation Center at Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), Indore. This visit aimed to help participants understand the startup ecosystem and the support mechanisms available for budding entrepreneurs at SGSITS.

On May 31st, 2024, a group of 25 finalists from the UDAAN 3.0 competition, again accompanied by Mr. Vivek Singh and Mr. Surajmal Patidar, visited the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore campus. The visit was intended to explore the institute’s initiatives, programs, and ecosystem supporting startups and innovation. This report summarizes the key insights, observations, and takeaways from the visit.

  • Results

    A total of 39 registrations were received for UDAAN 3.0, out of which 22 candidates participated in the preliminary round. From these, 18 were qualified for the final round.
