Department Of Optometry

The Institute of Natural & Applied Science at VGI, in collaboration with industry partner Virohan, offers the Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom), a 5-year undergraduate program. The program prepares skilled optometrists who play a vital role in improving vision and curing eye health. Students learn to conduct comprehensive eye examinations, assess vision, prescribe corrective lenses, fit contact lenses, and provide primary eye care through hands-on training and industry exposure.

The Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) is a five-year undergraduate program offered by Vikrant Group of Institutions in collaboration with industry partner Virohan. The program combines four years of academic learning with a one-year integrated internship. You'll build the knowledge, clinical skills, and confidence to examine eyes, assess vision, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide primary eye care, preparing you for a career in leading hospitals, eye care centres, and healthcare organisations.
