Visit to IIT Indore Incubation Center by UDAAN 3.0 Finalists
On May 7th, 2024, a group of 18 students, finalists of the UDAAN 3.0 competition, along with two faculty members, ,Mr. Vivek Singh and Mr. Surajmal Patidar, visited the Incubation Center at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore. The visit aimed to provide students with firsthand experience of the startup ecosystem, innovation processes, and entrepreneurial culture nurtured at IIT Indore.
Agenda
- Welcome and Introduction: The visit began with a warm welcome by the center's director, Dr. Swaminathan R, Professor, who provided an overview of the Incubation Center’s mission, vision, and achievements.
- Facility Tour: Participants toured state-of-the-art facilities, including co-working spaces, meeting rooms, and labs equipped with advanced technology.
- Presentation on Incubation Programs: A detailed presentation on various incubation programs, such as seed funding, mentorship, networking opportunities, and business development support.
- Interaction with Startup Founders: Students interacted with several startup founders currently incubated at the center, gaining valuable insights into the challenges and successes faced by new ventures.
- Q&A Session: An engaging Q&A session allowed students and faculty to clarify doubts and discuss potential avenues for collaboration and internships.
