Visit to SGSITS Incubation Center by UDAAN 3.00 Finalists
On May 9th, 2024, a group comprising 20 students, finalists of the UDAAN 3.00 competition, along with two faculty members, Mr. Vivek Singh and Mr. Surajmal Patidar, visited the Incubation Center at Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), Indore. The visit aimed to provide participants with an understanding of the startup ecosystem and the support mechanisms available for budding entrepreneurs at SGSITS.
The objectives of the visit were to learn about the operations and services of the SGSITS Incubation Center, explore opportunities for student engagement, internships, and collaborations, and gain insights from successful startups incubated at SGSITS.
The agenda for the visit included a warm welcome and introduction by Mr. Abhi Chauhan and Mr. Tarun Shrivastav, who provided an overview of the Incubation Center’s mission, vision, and achievements. This was followed by a tour of the state-of-the-art facilities, including co-working spaces, meeting rooms, and labs equipped with advanced technology.
A detailed presentation on the various incubation programs offered was conducted, covering topics such as seed funding, mentorship, networking opportunities, and business development support. Students had the opportunity to interact with several startup founders currently incubated at the center, gaining valuable insights into the challenges and successes faced by new ventures. An engaging Q&A session allowed students and faculty to clarify their doubts and discuss potential avenues for collaboration and internships.
The visit to SGSITS Indore showcased a robust and supportive environment for startups. The institution provides comprehensive resources and guidance to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. Continued efforts in enhancing industry partnerships and funding opportunities can further bolster the startup ecosystem at SGSITS.
