They're working effortlessly in covid wards with covid patients and giving them the best services they can. They're actively participating in difference procedure following guidelines and protocol of hospital and effectively working along with other staff in collaboration. Our students have participated in COVID-19 vaccination duty also.

The Department of Civil Engineering, Vikrant Institute of Technology & Management, Gwalior organised a virtual visit dated on 17th December 2020 to Bhargave Building Atelier Pvt Ltd Which is a material testing and research lab approved by NABL. The main objective of this e-visit was to make students trained well in direct shear testing and Triaxial load testing of soil specimen through live demonstration.

VGI family went to villages and distributed masks and sanitizers and made the people aware about the symptoms and causes of Corona virus.
They also told the people about the Janta curfew and precautions to be taken while staying at home.
For Innovative Competition amongst young students, the Vikrant Group of Institutions, Indore organized a
Science and Technology competition “EUREKA” in its Indore campus located behind Veterinary College, Village
Borkhedi, Old A.B. Road, Mhow, Indore (MP). This competition provided a platform for innovative students
studying in classes 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th in various schools across MP state. The Students have to accept
the challenge and participate in various categories Science and Technology competition to win a Cash Prize of the
values as mentioned below. Contestants was encouraged to form a team maximum of 4 students and work together on their
project and present the same to win these prizes.
Vikrant aims to ignite the hidden talent of young students, who are brimming with a lot of innovative ideas but are not able to convert them into reality due to several reasons such as short of money, guidance and/or time. The Vikrant Group of institutes may try to go for patent and commercialization of the deserving model, from an innovation stage from bench top to market. We hope that the school/student community at large will come together and, through this competition, provide a means to move many of our technologies further up the value chain and into the market place. Concrete potential outcomes include new employment opportunities, improvements in people's lives, and wealth creation that will be reciprocated throughout our region.
Glimpse of Eureka-2019
The Eureka-2019 was organized For Innovative Competition amongst young students. This competition has provided a platform to innovative students studying in higher secondary classes in various schools. Contestants were encouraged to form team maximum of 4 students and worked together to win prizes and certificate. Around more than 50 schools, with approx 80 teams, consisting of more than 350 participants and 500 plus audience turned up and visited to be an eye witness of a grand success of Eureka 2019.
Eureka 2019 was inaugurated by Mr. Puneet Agarwal (Director PATH) and the Winners of this event received the prizes from our Chief Guest Shri Govind singh Ex-minister of Madhya Pradesh. Apart from these, many prizes was sponsored by various Industries in different sectors.

Vikrant Institute of Management conducted a seminar on “Importance of communication skills” for students on 14th Feb 2020 at VGI campus.An eminent motivational speaker Mr Sanku Chatterjee, Director C.S.E.C graced the occasion.Several tips towards goal setting and self development was shared by the speaker. Students and all attendees of the seminar not only enjoyed the workshop but also found it very fruitful for self development.
Management Department of VGI organized a team building event “Treasure Hunt” on 12th Feb 2020.Six teams of six members each participated.The hunt for clues continued in entire VGI campus for an hour. Though exhausted, teams did not give up till the last clue was found.Role of technology, team building and emotional intelligence were taught to students through this activity.At the culmination of the event the Dean academics conveyed that the aim is to lay forward various out of classroom activities so as to ensure overall development of all students at VGI campus.
Vikrant Group of Institutions organised Vikrant Quiz League(VQL) 2020 Finale, an inter-school competition in which more than 40 schools of Gwalior and nearby region took part.School students showed a lot of enthusiasm and participated in huge number.Out of 80 schools 5 schools reached the last round.
In finale two teams won cash prizes of ₹21,000 and ₹11,000.
On 13 January 2020, a workshop was organised on "Additive Manufacturing Evolving on 3D Printing Future Possibilities" in VGI campus, where Mr. Deepak Bora( Head, Creative Technology, Bhopal) was invited to address the students.3D printing is a new era of manufacturing technology. The workshop was organised so as to explore the application of 3D printers and teach the students accordingly.Students learnt about the concept of 3D printing which have a lot of scope in their career.
02nd Jan 2020) a seminar was organised by Vikrant Group of Institutions, Gwalior on topic " Career opportunities in IT other than coding ".This session was addressed by Mr. Mukesh C Shrivastava, presently working at Microsoft, Australia.He has worked with various big companies such as Sahara India, Wipro, Infosys etc.
He shared his fifteen years experience of working in IT sector.He also discussed about cloud computing, azure,google cloud .
He suggested student should develop practical knowledge and enhance their technical skill by learning some new tools.At the end of the session questions were asked by students regarding new technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning,data science etc.
Vikrant institute of Management, Gwalior organized an educational tour of Legislative Assembly(Vidhan Sabha)Bhopal on 17th July 2019 for the students of MBA, where 20 students of MBA 1st year were accompanied by Institute's DMD Mrs. Jagvinder Kaur and Prof. Rohit Gupta.
As the session was going to on so all the members were present including the Chief Minister Mr. Kamal nath. When students reached in the house, Hon’ble CM was addressing the Legislative Assembly. He briefed the achievements of his government in this tenure. He thanked everyone for their support and guidance and also promised that he and his team is always committed for the welfare of this state.It was a fascinating experience for the student to see all the proceedings live which we normally see on T.V. The elected members followed the formal protocol.During visit, it was the Question hour that was going on. And after a few questions, the opposition staged a walkout. We got to see many political leaders and a couple of business leaders. In the words of participated students, the tour was very insightful and educational for them. They got the close look on how democracy work in the country.
Taking inspiration from the series of green initiative taken in Gwalior by respected IGP Shri Raja Babu Singh, Vikrant group of institutions hosted a mega “Tree plantation” drive at its Gwalior campus on Sunday 14th July 2019 at 12:30 p.m. Shri Raja Babu Singh, IGP Gwalior graced the function as chief guest and Shri Ravindra Singh, special Judge, Sheopur (M.P.) was Guest of Honour.Chairman of VGI, Shri R. S. Rathore welcomed all the guests and dignitaries present for this social cause.Chief Guest Shri Raja Babu Singh ji during his address focused on maintaining the environmental balance. He also emphasized the importance of trees in saving the environment and protection of natural water resources.
During above ceremony more than 400 trees were planted by eminent guests from educational, industrial, corporate and social. sectors along the entire VGI staff and students. The vote of thanks was proposed by Shri Vikrant Singh Rathore , Secretary of VGI.
A two days international conference on Social Networking and Computational Intelligence in association with Springer was held in RGPV, Bhopal on 8th and 9th March 2019.In this event Vikrant Group of Institutions was the only one from Madhya Pradesh to chair as Special Session and presented 18 research papers.In the event Computer Science department's Head Prof. Anand Singh Bisen presided as Session Chair
